Kampf Schneid- und Wickeltechnik GmbH & Co. KG has been a major technology leader in slitting and winding technology for almost hundred years. The company, based in Wiehl near Cologne, employs more than 500 employees. Its product range includes slitting and winding machines, winder, narrow-cut slitting and special machines for manufacturing and processing web-shaped plastic film, composite materials, laminated and aluminium foil, as well as non-wovens, label stock and refined paper. KAMPF is the world's biggest manufacturer of roll slitting and winding machines and winder for films. Exports account for more than 80% of sales. The company has subsidiaries in the USA, China and India, as well as international sales and service offices. The portfolio focuses on roll slitting and winding machines for plastic film up to 11 m in width, as well as doubling- and separating machines for aluminium foil. The company was founded by Erwin Kampf in Wiehl-Muehlen in 1920 and is managed today by Managing Director Lutz Busch. Since 1988 KAMPF has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Jagenberg AG.
